The supplement comes out on October 5, with 40 pages on trends in interiors as well as seasonal gardening advice and rural retreats for rent.
Edited by Susie Steiner, who works on the Space column, the handbook includes features on exclusive offers on a range of cut-price classics from Le Corbusier to Eileen Gray; a guide to the top 10 beds and advice on creating comfort zones from the bedroom to the living room. Novelist Maggie O'Farrell writes about her favourite comfort zone, the Caledonian sleeper train from London to Inverness, and Anna Tims writes about six of the best rural retreats for rent.
Space was originally a supplement on property and interiors, published for Guardian readers in the M25 region on a weekly basis. It now appears as a column in The Guardian's Weekend magazine, which comes with the Saturday edition of the paper, and has shifted its focus to homes and interiors.
Stuart Taylor, advertisement director of Guardian Newspapers, said: "The fantastic high-quality editorial in the autumn/winter issue of the Space Handbook provides a brilliant environment for a wide range of advertisers.
"New premium brands which have advertised in this issue include Linn Hi-Fi products and John Lewis of Hungerford Kitchens."
