Grey Worldwide wins pitch for £3m mail order launch

LONDON - Mail-order fashion house Together has appointed Grey Worldwide London to handle the 拢3m global launch of a new clothing range catalogue.

Grey won a pitch involving Together's incumbent agency Code to launch Pure in September, ahead of a spring distribution of a 32-page catalogue in 16 countries, including key markets the UK, US, France, Germany and Japan.

Annett Hausner, managing director of Together, said: "We were looking for an agency that could really get inside the mind of our consumer and produce a creative idea with which she could identify with straight away. Grey did just that -- in a pitch that gave them only five days to deliver."

Grey Worldwide London's Lorette Nettar said: "It's quite unusual to go to an above-the-line agency for a catalogue but Together were quite keen to try something different."

Pure is aimed at women over 35 and the clothing designs will be tailored for different markets.

Together is owned by Hamburg-based Otto Versand, the world's largest mail order retailer, with worldwide sales of 拢14.9bn.
