The panel talk was held at an event at the Rose Space Centre and Planetarium, which celebrated Virgin Galactic’s official partnership with vodka brand Grey Goose.
In light of the celebrations, the theme of the night was travel, and saw a number of minds in the travel industry debate the question 'The future of travel: are we moving fast enough?'. Other talks that have taken place previously include an event in London entitled 'Has tech killed the music industry?' and 'Have entrepreneurs lost the will to innovate?', which took place in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles.
Grey Goose also revealed at the event that it will provide a range of "out-of-this-world experiences, exclusive content and a series of limited-edition packs" to promote its new partnership with the commercial space travel company. It also said it will provide "exceptional signature cocktails" on board the spacecraft, which will launch in 2015.
François Thibault, creator of Grey Goose, said: "This is a marriage of two brands who share values and a true sense that if you can imagine it, it can be done. Not only do we both follow the same long-term vision that the extraordinary can be achieved from acting on your beliefs, but we also look forward to celebrating this iconic cultural moment in time with those on the ground."
