Blazinstar Experiential organised sponsorship by Green & Black's, which commissioned a large piece of ‘Chocol'art' for the event, made by artist Sir Peter Blake.
The ArtBarter has so far seen visitors offering artists the use of their cars, holiday villas, homes and more unusual bids – including ‘five hours of holistic massage' – all in exchange for the art.
The catch is that at Art Barter potential barterers do not know which piece belongs to which artist until after the show's end.
"We want to make art available to a more diverse crowd, not just people with disposable income," said event curator Lauren Jones. "ArtBarter is the perfect setting to make this happen, while also providing a fun way to get people involved with the arts."
Blazinstar Experiential worked with marketing communications agency PHD Rocket on the event.
