Irene Sinclair, 96, from North London was chosen alongside three other women to star in Dove's latest ad drive, called "北京赛车pk10 for Real Beauty", which includes a 96ft-tall billboard in Times Square as well as other prominent sites in the US and UK.
Beside the picture of Sinclair are two boxes marked "wrinkled?" and "wonderful?" and a website offering viewers the chance to vote on their opinion. So far, 83,000 have agreed Sinclair looks wonderful and 18,000 thought she looked wrinkled.
Other stars of the campaign include 45-year old artist Merlin Glozier with long flowing grey hair whose picture asks "grey?" or "gorgeous?". A fat woman asks "fit?" or "fat?" and a freckled woman asks "beauty spot?" or "ugly spot?"
On being chosen for the campaign, Sinclair, who had never modelled in her life before the Dove ads, said: "I've never been beautiful in my life -- but I feel I am now. It's all about growing old gracefully."
The photographs were shot by Dazed & Confused co-founder Rankin, who also shot the "real women" campaign for Dove last year.
The campaign broke in April and immediately caused a storm in the tabloids for featuring six curvy women and eschewing the use of stereotypical skinny models who usually appear in beauty advertising.
Lever Faberge has since revealed that its "real women" advertising campaign, created by Ogilvy last year, was behind a 700% rise in sales of Dove firming products during the first half of the year.
