Dove seeks 'real women' for ads

Dove is to search for the next group of 'real women' to become the faces and bodies of its Dove Firming product campaign. The activity follows the success of the current advertising campaign that features six women of average size.

Lever Faberge claims a 700% rise in sales of Dove Firming products in the first half of the year, following the introduction of its Ogilvy & Mather-created campaign.

Dove will use press advertising to drive consumers to www.dovefirmfriends.com, a microsite from which it will select a group of between two and five friends willing to strip to their underwear to be photographed for the next national poster campaign.
