
Its previous financial report – for the 18-month period to December 2010 – reported a loss of £1.5 million.
In the 2011 figures, Grass Roots posted a turnover of £300 million, gross profit of £72 million in its accounts for last year.
David Evans, Grass Roots chairman, said: "2011 represents a step back to the light of improving financial performance. With the global family in excellent shape and clients wanting an ever increasing regional and global answer, the opportunities and the prospects belie the fragile impression that often besets media comment."
"We have continued to invest in people and service product with our latest effort being the deployment with clients of the new "Inspire" generation of cloud based applications in reward recognition and other vital connectivity needs."
The group covers a range of business activities focussed on corporate performance through communication, education, measurement, reward as well as events.
