
The festival is expected to attract 6,000 visitors and for the first time is going to have a £50,000 Super High Roller event running from 4 to 6 October.
The Super High Roller for professional players is expected to attract over 60 elite players including international names such as Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier and Eugene Katchalov.
The schedule also features the largest variety of games of any poker event in the UK, offering events for all levels, including a £330 women’s event.
There will also be a £2,200 Open Face Chinese event, which appears on the schedule for the first time.
Murray Wilson, general manager of the Grand Connaught Rooms, said: "We are delighted to host the London leg of the European Poker Tour and believe the Grand Hall within the Grand Connaught Rooms is ideal for one of the UK’s largest poker festivals.
"This is a hugely prestigious event and we have been preparing by on going meetings and communication to ensure everything is covered. Attention to detail is key."
