The new product, which has been given the catchy name Salesforce for Google Apps, will make it "easy for companies of all sizes to run their business in the cloud", according to Salesforce.
This means that email responses sent by a business's customers can be added to the information already stored within the Salesforce.com database.
This also applies to any conversations carried out through Google Talk, and other Google applications.
Of today's deal, Eric Schmidt, Google's chief executive, said: "Google and salesforce.com have always had similar models and philosophies about delivering innovations made possible by the Internet.
"Salesforce.com was a pioneer in Software-as-a-Service and a year ago we joined them in this mission to bring the benefits of cloud computing to businesses of all types. Together, we are making more applications and services available online so customers can focus on building their core business rather than the applications that support it."
Google and Salesforce first teamed up last June, with Salesforce Group Edition featuring Google AdWords.
Salesforce.com decided to add Google Apps to its system after requests from customers. It has a similar offering to go with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
