Google, Geometry and SeymourPowell are UK's three entrants on Product Design Lion shortlist

The UK has only three nominations on the Product Design Lion shortlist.

SeymourPower London has a nomination for "Creating the world's first modular phone" on behalf of client, Fairphone (above).

Google Creative Lab London is also in the running for its programming education platform, Project Bloks.

And Geometry Global London is nominated for a "Posters for catching fishermen" on behalf of Dirección De Asuntos Marinos, Costeros Y Recursos Acuáticos Colombia.

Among 14 US entries, DigitasLBI has two nominations for Whirlpool and one for Playstation.

Snapchat parent Snap has two entries shortlisted for Spectacles, while Apple has two nominations for "Liam", a robot that deconstructs used iPhones so the materials can be recycled.
