Google completes agency team

Google has hired RadioCentre director Peter Cory in a further boost to its agency team.

Cory, who spent six years at the radio industry body, will join as an agency relationships leader in March, working alongside Philip Miles, who was appointed last month from his role as group sales director at Maiden Outdoor, and Jonathan Gillespie.

All three report to Mark Howe, Google UK sales director, who is now focusing on the firm’s work with agencies.

David Raitt, who has been with Google for nearly five years, is agency head, also reporting to Howe.

Howe said Google would invest further in the area over the next few months.
