Masterchef Live as the BBC Good Food Show.
At the show, a brand new 600-seat super theatre hosted sessions from some of the country’s finest chefs and brought to life TV programmes including Saturday Kitchen, Masterchef: The Professionals with Michel Roux Jr and Monica Galetti, and The Great British Bake Off with Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry.
More than 200 exhibitors were selling and sampling their wares, including homemade brownies, artisan liquor and all things smoked.
The show also featured a Masterchef demonstration pod, hosted by the TV programme’s 2008 champion James Nathan, and incorporated the Wine Show.
Laura Biggs, managing director, of BBC Good Food Shows, said the event was a "fantastic success".
"The second show in our autumn calendar and again a significant rise of 12% in paid visitors," she said. "Our line up was one of the best we have brought to London and this showed in advance ticket sales. The BBC Good Food Show Winter is looking to be a similar success with ticket sales again bucking the trend and trading considerably up year on year."
The figures are subject to ABC audit.
The Good Food Show Winter is taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 28 November – 2 December.
