The show, which is organised by BBC Haymarket Exhibitions, took place in the SECC Glasgow from 19-21 October and attracted more than 21,000 visitors, pre-audit.

Laura Biggs, managing director BBC Good Food Shows, said: "This has been a really exciting year for our Scotland show and it is our biggest audience yet. The line up was brilliant from the start and the soaring popularity of food TV programmes has given a great to boost to all of our live TV formats.

"This is reflected across the board with the BBC Good Food Shows London and Winter trading significantly up year on year so we hope to deliver similar increases to all our food shows this autumn."

The show featured 60 demonstrations from 21 celebrities and culinary experts including James Martin, Tom Kitchin and Gregg Wallace, across three stages.

BBC Good Food Show London is taking place at Olympia from 9-11 November, while BBC Good Food Show Winter will be happening in the NEC from 28 November- 2 December.
