Wingracers Sports Games and Slightly Mad Studios, the creators behind Red Bull Air Race – The Game, will launch the PC version of the computer game at Gamescom, which takes place from 17-21 August.

To promote the game, the 600m2 exhibition stand will have 28 demo stations including several VR-stations, which will use Oculus Rift headsets, for visitors to play the game and experience what it is like to fly in the cockpit of an aerobatic airplane. The idea is to create a training camp experience for aspiring pilots.

The game features many routes and pilots of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2016, including the newly integrated course at the Lausitzring.

The launch follows the for visitors to test a beta version of the game.

The exhibition stand at Gamescom will also feature a gigantic video wall and a live DJ will provide further entertainment. Red Bull Air Race pilots are expected to visit the stand too.

Red Bull Air Race – The Game operates on a free-to-play model.
