
The honour, which is bestowed on esteemed members of the community, was made to Enstone at a ceremony at London’s Guildhall on 19 April in recognition of her ongoing work both in the community and on behalf of the three Livery Companies at Glaziers Hall.
The Lord Mayor, David Wootton, and Alderman Sir John Stuttard were both in attendance.
Freedom to the City entitles an individual to earn money and own land. Enstone joins an esteemed list of recipients including former Prime Minister, Baroness Margaret Thatcher.
