
It has been widely reported that the summer music event may be cancelled if swine flu spreads, with The Sun newspaper citing a source who said Glastonbury would be one of the first festivals to go, should the disease spread.
However, Glastonbury can currently only say that it is monitoring all developments in relation to swine flu. "At this stage the festival is going ahead at the end of June and we are continuing to work flat-out to make it a success," a spokesperson added.
Confirmed Glastonbury acts include Blur, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young. More recently, Animal Collective confirmed their participation.
