Glamour and GQ to offer online dating

Glamour.com and GQ.com are launching dating services in partnership with DatingDirect.com.

Set to go live in June, the two-year deal with CondeNet.UK will see DatingDirect.com provide an online dating service for the two magazine brands.

The white-label packages will give GQ.com and Glamour.com users access to the existing 600,000-strong DatingDirect. com members database. The sites will maintain their own individual brand look and styling throughout.

Darren Richards, chief executive and co-founder of Dating Direct.com, said: "Glamour.com and GQ.com will be plugging into the stickiest content on the internet. Every time they receive a message from another member users have to go through to the respective sites. Users come back to the site three or four times a week."

Abigail Chisman, editor in chief of CondeNet.UK, said: "DatingDirect.com provides a package that promises to be quick and easy to implement and takes on our branding."
