
Brian Galbraith, managing director of the caterer, said the company is looking to increase its business in the corporate market. It wil also look to focus on clients operating in the energy sector to help reach its financial target.
He said: "We’ve made four key appointments and welcome these talented, experienced and enthusiastic individuals to our continually growing GH team. Each has a significant role to play and with the rest of our team, will help us drive the business forward.
"Our goal is to increase our turnover by the end of 2014 by 35%. We’re focused on increasing our business with the corporate market, particularly providing our quality catering services to companies operating in the country’s energy sectors and creating new partnerships with prestigious venues in Edinburgh, the Lothians and across Scotland."
GH Event Catering has appointed Libby Harrison as business development manager. The former director of family website UK Kidding Around, will work closely with Galbraith to devise a business development strategy, along with a number of sales responsibilities.
Lynn Barclay, the new revenue manager, joins GH Event Catering from Surgeons Hall in Edinburgh where she was business development manager. Stephanie Stubbs, formerly of the Lane Agency in Edinburgh, has been appointed as marketing manager.
Christina Clayhills-Henderson has been hired as office and events assistant and will work under events director Sa Craig. She will be responsible for helping with all aspects of event planning and office administration.
