Young has joined the exhibition and event services supplier where he will be responsible for sales in the live event sector to corporate clients and agencies. He will also be in charge of maintaining relationships with venues with specific focus on reinforcing sustainability in live events through the Sustainable Event Summit, of which GES is a founding partner.
His previous experience includes roles with Silverstone Wing and Lime Venues, along with a number of consultancy roles for live event businesses.
He will report to Justin Squires, director of international live events, and will be based at GES’ Excel London office.
