Vallis was formerly group head of agency sales at GCap and has been with the company for six years, having joined Capital Radio in 1999 as agency sales assistant.
In his new position, Vallis reports to group sales director John McGeogh and will be responsible for selling the national networked products. These are Newslink, a solus airtime opportunity available within news bulletins across 276 commercial stations, and 'hit40uk', the Sunday 4pm-7pm chart show broadcast across 122 commercial stations.
