The company has taken on Emma Bond and Victoria Mayhew as sales administrators, Robert Doolan as the company’s new crewing co-ordinator, and Lee Benney as HR administrator.
Three of the new recruits joined via Exeter University’s Backstage initiative – the faculty’s annual networking event, created to assist students seeking work in the events industry – which Gallowglass supports.
Shaun Altwig has also been promoted to London crew manager and former senior crew chiefs Colin Pickavance and Bruce Halley have been promoted to crew managers.
Managing director Nick Grecian said: "2011 has been a great year for us - including August, which we normally expect to be one of our quietest months, but turned out to produce record stats in terms of volume of work and number of shifts crewed. Our 2012 order book is looking extremely healthy, with a number of London 2012-related projects booked for the Spring and Summer months."
