Gala Bingo updates customer magazine with added extras

LONDON - Customer publishing agency Seven Squared has overhauled the bingo magazine, Gala Buzz, as Gala Bingo looks to increase the value of the membership offered to its 5m club members.

The revamped magazine, which is free to all members of Gala Bingo's 171 clubs nationwide, is to be more strongly branded and feature a greater number of cross-promotions to draw Gala customers to its online offering, and Gala TV.

Sean King, director at Seven Squared, said: "With the revamp we've ensured that not only will members receive even more bang for their bingo, but the magazine will work harder for Gala by promoting its full spectrum of services."

Pagination of the tri-annual magazine, which will carry ten pages of third-party advertising, will be increased to 48 pages, and a total of 140,000 copies are to be produced for each print run.

Alistair Logan, marketing manager at Gala Bingo, said: "We are constantly striving to give our members greater value by giving them more prize money, more games and more excitement. The magazine revamp helps bring alive the promise that it's 'the bingo that gets you buzzing'."

Gala is the UK's leading bingo operator with 32 million admissions every year and a 40% market share.
