The Bedford-based agency, which specialises in live brand experiences for the automotive sector, attributed the increase to integrating experiential as a core element into its clients' strategies. The agency has worked for automotive brands Audi, Ford, Infiniti, Mazda, Porsche, Renault and Volvo.
Managing director Gianni Mason told Event: "It is still dependent on contracts we tendered for towards the end of last year, but we expect a minimum rise of 30% in turnover for the next 12 months. We have recently won a contract with a luxury sports car manufacturer, which we will be announcing shortly.
"2014 could not have got off to a better start as we celebrate our 25th anniversary, and we view the year ahead with considerable optimism."
Mason added that the company has no plans to move into new sectors. "Over the years we have worked with brands within telecoms and various other sectors. That's not to say we won’t turn our hand to other areas, but where we see our competitive edge is by specialising in automotive. We do not want to dilute our reputation," he said.
The company has also made a series of key appointments this month, including Geoff Mason, founder and former managing director, who has taken up the position of chairman.
Gianni, his son, was previously client services director; Andy McNeil has been appointed as operations director; and Nick Clinton is the company’s new creative director.
Staff numbers at Fusion Events rose from 14 to 20 during the past year, and the company has revealed it is on the lookout to employ more people over the coming months.
