FT launches online information service for investors

LONDON – The Financial Times has launched an online information service for investors and independent financial advisers.

FT launches online information service for investors

The new service at provides guidance and information to help users make intelligent investment decisions.

New service features include links to the FT newspaper's management funds listed in PDF format and to FTfm -- the paper's weekly European supplement on fund management. The site includes a guide to fund investment including a glossary, a guide and an analysis of industry trends, and full access to the FT's Fund Ratings, to compare fund risk, charges and performance.

The online service provides additional branding opportunities for fund managers who already advertise in the paper. Advertisers can sponsor sections of the site and a company can feature a logo and advertising alongside its listing.

Adrian Clarke, the FT's business director of fund management said: "The new funds service is a valuable extension to the FT's fund management offering."

He added: "For our funds advertisers, the new online service provides an additional way to reach the FT's affluent audience within a credible and relevant environment."

The online service complements the managed funds listings published within the Companies & Markets section of the UK edition of the newspaper and in the European edition as well as the funds supplement FTfm.
