LONDON - The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is part funding a cooking programme on UKTV along with production company Shine TV.

FSA links with Good Food channel

The working title for the show is Family Cook Off. It will launch at the end of the year on the Good Food channel.

Shine TV was behind the Masterchef series. The new programme follows the format of a cooking competition but aims to be family friendly and highlight the value of families passing on recipes and culinary skills.

The Good Food channel launches on 22 June. The deal with the FSA was put together by UKTV's head of commercial partnerships, Sally Quick, Shine TV's Sara Brailsford and Paolo Proto, and the COI's broadcast strategist, Richard Spence, on behalf of the FSA.
