Friends Reunited offers dating service for Mirror's national brands

LONDON - Friends Reunited Dating, part of the ITV-owned Friends Reunited network which was put up for sale last week, is to provide dating services across Trinity Mirror's national brands, including the Daily Mirror, Scottish Daily Record and the Scottish Sunday Mail.

Rick Gleave, head of interactive and mobile at Trinity Mirror, said the partnership will "fit well" with Trinity Mirror's target audience and offer more "interactive opportunities" for Trinity Mirror readers and a great "added value" service.

Matt Bushby, head of Friends Reunited Dating, said Friends Reunited Dating's core audience of those aged 35 and over fits well with Trinity Mirror's readership.

Friends Reunited Dating claims more than 2,000 partnerships and weddings have been reported by the site's members to date and the site has an even gender balance, with an almost perfect 50/50 gender split.
