LONDON (Brand Republic) - Internet portal Freeserve is to experiment with selling content over the internet by charging surfers to access webcasts charting the build-up to Lennox Lewis鈥檚 fight against Hasin Rahman.
Users with Vodafone telephones will be able to dial a premium rate number in order to buy the webcasts. The subscription charge will be made to their Vodafone bills, avoiding the need to key in their credit card details and submit them over the internet.
Freeserve users who are not Vodafone customers will be able to sign up to view using premium rate telephone lines.
Coverage from the training camp commences on April 12 and will follow Lewis through his training programme in the build-up to the fight on April 22 in South Africa.
Content will include edited daily highlights of each day鈥檚 training, including sparring fights, interviews with Lewis and his training team and visits from high-profile stars from the world of sport, music and politics, including a scheduled meeting with Nelson Mandela.
The fight itself will be broadcast on BBC 1.
