Fourth plinth digital exhibition allows shortlisted statues to 'live forever'

An exhibition featuring shortlisted proposals for the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square has been brought to life with an interactive 360 degree tour to showcase the work from artists including Hans Haacke and Ugo Rondinone.

The Greater London Authority (GLA) commissioned  to allow the exhibition, which ends on 17 November, to "live online forever".

Trafalgar Square’s empty fourth plinth features temporary displays of artwork, after the equestrian statue of William IV that was earmarked for the plinth never happened due to lack of funds.
