Foster's "Thirstiest men on Earth, 1888" by Adam & Eve/DDB

Foster's celebrates its Australian roots by telling the story of English cricketers battling the Melbourne heat during a match in 1888.

After the thirsty and hot British players miss a crucial catch, the lager brand’s founders, William and Ralph Foster, arrive at the field via a wagon to deliver a refreshing pint from a block of ice. The ad by Adam & Eve/DDB promotes the brand’s sponsorship with the England and Wales Cricket Board. It premiered on Easter during The Last Leg on Channel 4 and is part of a multi-million pound campaign running this summer across TV, cinema, digital, press and social. Simon Pearse and Emmanuel Saint M Leux created the film at A&E/DDB, and James Rouse was the director through Outsider.
