Courtney Baisch, talent manager at agency Amplify, has also joined the team, bringing with her a passion for finding, developing and supporting talent in the industry.
The programme, which is free of charge, is aimed at supporting and inspiring ambitious individuals within the events industry. It is open to event professionals of all ages, genders, and from across the entire events industry, be it from a brand, corporate, agency or venue background. It will run for six months at a time with 2016’s first sessions taking place in November. There will also be an opportunity for interested parties to join Elevate's end of programme event and network with like-minded mentees and mentors.
With supporting materials, a wide network and a coaching structure in place, Elevate seeks to support both mentees and mentors with effective and structured connections and materials to make the most of the programme.
Fellows said: "We’ve already had an amazing response to the programme. In the past week alone nearly 50 mentors have committed their involvement and time to supporting individuals within the industry. The calibre of the mentors is excellent and covers every role within the industry, there is someone for everyone, no matter what your position and/or situation. A few of those brands confirmed include Innocent, Balance Me, Sledge, Wonder, Sony, Pretty Green, Amplify, Evolve, Clive and Neverland."
Interested parties can visit to sign up with mentor and mentee applications during the month of October, and pair up mentees with mentors prior to the start of sessions in November.
