Soar, who has years of experience launching some of the exhibition industry's most successful shows, will talk about the rights and wrongs when investing, buying and selling shows.
Alongside the AEO Soar has previously chaired Ithaca Business Media, Spearhead Exhibitions and been CEO of DeAgostini UK.
Soar will also talk about research, due diligence, tax, good and bad buys and what can make deals go wrong.
The Event and Exhibition Show takes place from 15 to 16 July at the Business Design Centre.
