Five Live relaunches website

BBC Radio Five Live has relaunched its website with more news, information and games giving its audience a greater chance to interact with the station and its line-up of presenters.

The redesigned website -  - includes a weekly competition where listeners can compete against Mark Lawrenson to see who can successfully predict the outcome of the top football games.

Listeners can also challenge their mates by email to a new penalty shoot out competition on the site and play 'Producer Panic' where they get to take on the role of a Five Live producer trying to pull together a show.

The website also allows users to go on a virtual tour of the Five Live studios as well as get live streaming of Five Live and Five Live Sports Extra.

Michael Hill, BBC Radio Five Live interactive editor, said: "This new website is modern, fresh and really complements what we do on air, with the added advantage of access whenever, wherever and however they want it.

"It is easier to navigate and really encourage listeners to get involved with the station in new ways."
