The Detox Kitchen
In addition to offering packages of healthy food that can be delivered straight to your door, the Detox Kitchen has two London delis, while its products are also available at the Selfridges Food Hall and Planet Organic. In terms of the food options, hungry customers can choose from a range of fresh juices, salads - such as sweet potato, red onion, soya lemon yoghurt and honey pecans - and main dishes such as salmon burgers and frittata. Its grub is also free from wheat, dairy and refined sugar.

One of Brighton’s most renowned restaurants, and one the nation’s top vegetarian eateries, the award-winning Terre à Terre takes its inspiration from flavours across the globe. The founders say the experience at their restaurant should be about indulgence rather than abstinence. The menu features dishes such as BBQ cherry wood smoked tofu skewers, pumpkin and sage arancini and cheese and pickle gnocchi.
Wild Food Cafe
Based in Neal’s Yard in London’s Covent Garden, Wild Food Cafe champions the best of fresh, raw and wild food. The vegan/vegetarian restaurant’s menu features starters such as sweet potato wedges with cashew aioli and wild mushroom ceviche, while mains include burritos filled with wild rice, corn, Mexican style veggies, chilli sauce and plant-based sour cream, and an olive, shitake mushroom and quinoa burger.

This picanteria and pisco bar in London’s Shoreditch has a menu packed with superfood ingredients native to the Peruvian Andes, as well as fresh British produce. Dishes include broad bean salad with Jerusalem artichoke crisps, sustainable line-caught tuna tartare with rocoto chilli, cold purple potato mash and avocado, and marinated grilled fillet steak with red onions, amarillo chilli and choclo corn puree.
Evelyn’s Cafe & Bar
Based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, Evelyn’s offers a choice of all-day dining options, as well as a breakfast and Sunday menu. Large plates include seared mackerel with chilli, ginger, vegetables and black rice, chicken skewers with peanuts, soba noodles and citrus dressing and lamb with chilli, mint, quinoa, pomegranate and salsa verde, while salad options include a seared beef, cress, radish, carrot and peanut creation.
