Firebrand launches digital offering called The Social Media Academy

LONDON - Social Media Library creator Firebrand has launched its new initiative The Social Media Academy.

The training school will offer a variety of training courses for PR professionals to 'demystify' online PR.

Firebrand chief executives Graham Lee and James Fitzgerald will lead on the training, providing services to both PR individuals and agencies.

'There is still a noted digital skills gap in the PR industry,' said Firebrand chief executive Graham Lee. 'This has become particularly evident in recent months, with the number of online PR account wins from other marketing disciplines, particularly media planning and digital agencies, increasing markedly.'
