Charlotte Woodhead came up with the idea for the 'No Egos Required Film Festival' as a way of giving something back.
"As a freelancer it's often 'me, me, me'. I wanted to do something for someone else for a change," she said.
The films range from between half-a-minute and two minutes long and have been submitted by editors, directors of photography, stylists, production designers, gaffers and agency creatives.
Film-makers taking part include: Glazer, who directed the Guinness "horses" ad as well as videos for Radiohead; Dougal Wilson of Blink, who has done promos for The Streets and Will Young; Justin Moore of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, who has done spots for Levi's and Jameson's; Andy Morahan of Bikini, who has done work for Paul McCartney, Guns 'N Roses and Volkswagen; and Paul Gore who has worked with Snow Patrol, Coca-Cola and Remy Martin.
"What has really inspired me is how everyone has come together, the amount of names on the list contributing their time and expense, the enthusiasm and the people who aren't directors who have got involved -- that takes a great deal of courage to work alongside some of the great creatives," Woodhead said.
The event is being held on May 18 at 7pm at the Curzon Soho Cinema, 93-107 Shaftesbury Avenue. Tickets cost £13 and can be bought from the Centrepoint's or NERFF Film Festival's dedicated , with all proceeds going to the national charity.
