Fashion magazine Lucire magazine in talks about UK edition

LONDON – Fashion title Lucire, dubbed the Antipodean W magazine, is looking at launching a UK edition.

Nicola Brockie, editor in chief, will be in London next month to discuss plans for a UK version of , which some consider the New Zealand version of America's top fashion Bible, , published by Conde Nast.

Lucire, which began life as an online magazine before becoming one of the first titles to make the transition to print, has already launched an edition in Romania, which was rolled out in October.

Lucire was founded in 1997 and covers fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle and is targeted at the woman "who is tired of the offerings from established fashion players and chooses to be herself".
