LONDON - Fanta has joined with Tesco and British designers Antoni & Alison to create a re-usable bag made out of recycled plastic bottles.

Fanta teams up with Tesco to give away designer carrier bags

The bag will be given away free with the purchase of two, 2-litre bottles of Fanta or Fanta Fruit Twist while stocks last at Tesco. The campaign launches on 20 May ahead of National Recycle Week.

The bag folds into a small pouch and features designs by Antoni & Alison that are typical of the duo's signature designs.

The in-store activity will be supported by a press campaign. Musician VV Brown will also be involved with the promotion.

Coca-Cola Great Britain, which owns the Fanta brand, is aiming to use 25% recycled plastic in all of its plastic bottles throughout Europe by 2010.
