Fallon appoints Leo Burnett's Feuerman as creative director

NEW YORK - Fallon has appointed Kerry Feuerman from Leo Burnett USA as its new creative director, replacing Paul Silburn who departed in January after less than a year in the job.

Feuerman was most recently executive vice-president and group creative director at Leo Burnett USA. Prior to that, he was vice-chairman, partner and group creative director at the Martin Agency from 1990-2005.

Fallon parted company with Silburn, the former creative director at TBWA\London, after less than a year in the job. He had been handpicked for the role by Pat Fallon, chairman of Fallon Worldwide.

Feuerman is best known for his work on Saab while at the Martin Agency, where he became co-global creative director for the car maker. While at Leo Burnett, Feuerman ran the US Army account.

Fallon said: "Kerry's work is impressive; he's a strong strategist and he's a terrific presenter. Importantly, he's a great communicator and knows how to make the people around him better. I've known Kerry for years and have long wanted him part of our team."

Feuerman will report to Bill Westbrook, the newly appointed Fallon vice-chairman. He will be responsible for setting creative direction for the Minneapolis headquarters and begins work immediately.
