Eye magazine launches stock imagery design awards

LONDON - International graphic design magazine Eye is calling for entries for its newly launched awards for the creative use of library images -- Just Add Stock.

The awards are open to all and free to enter.

Eye magazine is looking for commissioned design work made after January 2008 which uses stock imagery such as photographs, illustrations and film clips from any image library.

The nine award categories are:

  • Book covers
  • Magazine spreads and newspaper features
  • Annual reports and brochures
  • Printed advertising
  • Corporate identity
  • 3D artefacts
  • Music design
  • Moving image
  • Interactive/web design

The panel of judges includes DixonBaxi creative director Aporva Baxi, Getty's director of photography Tom Hind and director of the Design Museum Deyan Sudjic.

Finalists will be published in the autumn edition of the quarterly magazine.

The deadline for entries is Friday July 31.
