Experian launches Dutch goneaway suppression file

LONDON – Experian is launching a goneaway suppression file in the Netherlands, the first time a standalone suppression file has been launched in the region in 10 years.

Goneaway Filter provides businesses with up-to-date home mover information to protect local and international businesses operating in the Netherlands from financial, fraud and brand image risks posed by sending marketing to consumers' old addresses.

Until now, businesses had to use bundled suppression services in order to remove goneaways from Dutch mailings.

Pieter Stroop, senior manager for Experian's Dutch marketing services division, said: "By launching our new suppression file, we are providing the market with choice and a cost-effective alternative to having to suppress across the board just to remove goneways from mailings."

Goneaway Filter is accessed through Experian's Interact site or the Dutch Marketing Services Bureau.
