
The campaign has been created by Clemmow Hornby Inge and will include television, radio, national press, as well as online activity.
The campaign uses the strapline "create your perfect trip" and urges people to "stop searching and start creating". The aim is to get travellers to consider a new approach to planning and booking a trip.
As well as the advertising campaign, visitors to will be able to use The Inspirator, a new tool that suggests potential destinations depending on the specifications it is given.
Rebecca Butler, marketing director at Expedia.co.uk, said: "Our new campaign marks a change in our strategy. It is more challenging, dynamic and arresting than anything we have done before and demonstrates our passionate commitment to changing the way people think about travel."
