The campaign is in response to rising demand for domestic travel and supports Expedia's recent increased hotel inventory across the British Isles. Created by Meteorite, activity will running throughout July, using the strap line ‘Everyone Must Go' and feature deals starting at £49 for UK breaks, as well as popular worldwide holiday destinations.
Press, Outdoor, Radio and TV and will roll out across UK, France and Italy. It is however not the first time that Expedia in France and Italy have promoted domestic travel in each respective country.
According to VisitBritain research conducted last November and repeated in February this year, an extra five million Britain's are considering holidaying at home in 2009.
