Expedia joins Nectar rewards scheme

LONDON - Expedia, the online travel agent, has joined the Nectar reward scheme, with members earning points when making bookings through the Expedia UK website.

Nectar card users earn 1,000 points for booking travel packages, including flights, and 200 points for making an individual flight, hotel or car rental through .

The travel site offers flights from more than 450 airlines and a choice of almost 80,000 hotels.

Nectar was sold by Loyalty Management Group at the end of last year to Canadian rewards company Groupe Aeroplan in a deal reportedly worth £368m. Nectar has agreements with firms including Sainsbury's and BP.
