Ben Hack, who , told Event: "By formalising the team and the offering, we’ll now be able to integrate live and experiential – in its broadest sense – into more client campaigns.
"I was attracted to the opportunity of joining at a relatively early stage – certainly in terms of the agency’s live and experiential offering," Hack continued. "I have 18 years' experience working internationally, both client side and in-house; Sunshine felt like the right place to pull all of that together and use that experience to help to build something new and unique."
Kit Hawkins, Sunshine’s co-founder and chief executive, added: "Experiential marketing is an exciting service for us and clients as we look to connect brand conversations to the real world with the same calibre of innovation, quality and thought."
Sunshine has already worked on a number of brand events, including Gucci’s Chime for Change, Girl Effect Live for Nike’s Foundation and the Shinola brand launch. Hack, who joined from MTV’s Viacom International Media Networks, stated that he is currently working with clients in the Europe and the US.
"We want to work with bold brands and marketers who have an ambition to do pioneering and impactful work that lives within, and helps to shape, popular culture," said Hack. "Working with brands and people who share this ambition defines us more than one particular market or sector."
