Hatfield, who joined the company this week, previously worked at London venue Old Billingsgate where she held the position of business development manager for 15 months.
In her new role, she will support the current Create account managers by building and maintaining stronger relationships with the company’s venue partners. Hatfield will also be looking after the group’s growing association business and key relationships with companies such as London & Partners and Unique Venues of London.
Hatfield told Event: "I am delighted to have been offered this opportunity and hope my experience within the events industry will help facilitate the growth of relationships with Create’s listed venues, and the increase of business for both Create and Concerto."
Teresa-Anne Dunleavy, Concerto Group chief executive, added: "Our venue relationships are key to our success and need to be stronger with more two-way dialogue about what works and what can be better.
"Heidi brings excellent industry experience and contacts and will work hard to build on existing relationships while forging new alliances. We are delighted to have her."
Hatfield’s previous experience has included roles at the Science Museum Group, the University of York and Durham City Council.
