Excel Airways to use Gasoline for web brand work

LONDON - Excel Airways, the UK's newest low-cost airline, has confirmed that direct marketing agency Gasoline will work on its brand following a successful soft-launch.

Chime Communications-owned Gasoline was behind the trade launch of the airline last October and ran a soft consumer launch in January. Excel said the campaign's success has allowed it to more than double its marketing budget to about £3m for the new financial year.

Excel has briefed Gasoline to develop its , and produce press advertising, promotions and a frequent flyers loyalty club targeting UK owners of holiday homes abroad.
