Millbank Tower-based venue Altitude London has assured clients its 'business as usual' in spite of the violent protests that erupted outside the building yesterday (10 November).

The event space is located opposite the Conservative headquarters, which was targeted by group of protesters who broke away from the main demonstration against a rise in university fees, smashing windows, lighting fires and throwing missiles at police.

Millbank Tower is home to a number of businesses, including

Altitude’s newly appointed managing director John Lowther said in a statement issued last night: "The actions of the splinter group of students who deviated from the set route to break into Millbank Tower took us all completely by surprise.

"We have a full programme set to take place within our various event spaces throughout the building including the launch of our exciting .  We would like to assure our clients that from tomorrow onwards, it will be very much business as usual."
