Entitled Events 2012 & Beyond, the event is being organised in conjunction with Visit London and Visit Britain and will take place on the first day of International Confex on 24 February 2009 at Earls Court Conference Centre.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) will be working with the organisers to develop content, which will include key learning's from the Beijing Olympics.
"It is clear that the UK events industry are not just keen for information on how they can get the most out of the Olympic opportunity, but are desperate for the right information from the right sources," said Visit London commercial director David Hornby. "David Sharpe and the rest of the Development Group are well placed, with the support of Visit London and Visit Britain, to provide this information and deliver an outstanding industry event."
