Industry association Eventia has launched the 2010 UK Event Market Trends Survey, which last year revealed the recession wiped 拢800m off the value of the event industry to the economy.
The results provide an estimate of the market's value in terms of direct revenue to event venues, and are widely used to inform investment, advocacy and marketing activities.
Last year's research estimated the sector was worth around £7.2bn, down from £8bn the year before.
The survey questionnaire is and also as a Word document and will remain open until 2 April. The report will be published in June 2010.
