I got into the events industry because I booked events for a local charity.
I have worked here since May 2011
I was attracted to this particular role because who wouldn’t be with these great venues to sell.
Not many people know that I really wanted to be a midwife.
My worst experience at an event was not having enough wine on the table when the speaker was about to start.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s god gave us two ears and only one mouth.
The best event I’ve been involved in was my own wedding.
If I could do it all over again I would enjoy events more than stressing over them.
The one thing I can’t stand is miserable and negative people.
Outside of work I spend my time chilling out with my hubby and a glass of red wine (or two).
If money were no object no one in the world would go hungry.
The one event I will never miss is Christmas dinner at home with my family.
The recession has meant there is nowhere to hide and you have to be good at what you do.
The next 12 months will be exciting yet challenging but very positive.
If I could switch places with anyone else in the industry it would be the back stage team at the Brits.
If I ruled the event industry I would pull the plug on video conferencing. Meeting people face to face is fabulous.
